Foto Friday

Today's Foto Friday theme is Summer. Well, since my kids aren't out of school yet, and we've had SO MUCH rain, I don't have any pictures that scream summer yet. So these will have to do for now.

Don't my boys look like they're having so much fun in the pouring rain? These were taken at the WWII Weekend last Friday.

Here's Otto the Super Dog enjoying a sunny moment in our backyard! His soccer ball is deflated. He pops every ball we give him. Alas, the boys were away, so he had no one to play with.

Okay, here are two videos of the boys shooting a machine gun at the WWII Weekend. The first video shows Sam, and the second one shows Cooper.

Go check out Mrs. Tracy's pics over at Our Journey, post some of your own and let her know that you're participating. I want to see some sunny photos!

Looks like great fun...in the rain. Thank you for your continued prayers...I need them right now (family issues/serious). GOD has spoken to me...giving me direction, but it doesnt make my heart hurt any less.

wow those machine guns look scary.. A neighbor of mine has a dog that pops all the soccer balls as well. If it is a ball and it is in her backyard she thinks it's hers:)

Love the comment from yesterday, it cracked me up.

Amazing pictures! I bet your boys will never forget their experiences either.

It helps bring history to life for them in a whole different way!

Hmmm, I wonder if we got your weather by mistake? We usually have rain in April, May and even some in June. So perhaps we "stole" yours, sorry!

My folks really couldn't afford to buy me a prom dress, so fortunately I had this one!

In a way you really are participating, but it's just that you are being more in a free-spirit kind of mode, and just doing whatever needs doing at the moment, instead of selecting one particular room. I think that's great!

You get alot done that way, and it's also very satisfying to get to it NOW instead of waiting for the room to come up!

The rain didn't seem to affect anyone here, that's for sure! Or even a deflated ball ;)

Delighted to meet you! I just found your blog via Andrea's blog. Such joy, such sunshine, such a splash of God's goodness. I love the rain, and it's a good thing because we live in the rainforest on the mission field. Enjoy every day of sunshine!

Hugs from Costa Rica,
Sarah Dawn
