On our way home from church on Sunday, I spotted a sign at another church which said: A worn out Bible probably belongs to someone who isn't. This is so true, and I've always admired the look of a well-worn or well-loved Bible! It's an indication that its owner spends a lot of time in God's Word, and I find that so wonderful!
I gave one of my sons a Bible once that I had used a long time and asked him just to read what was highlighted or underlined.....I don't know if he did or not, but someday.....
Thanks for your comment! I went to your other blog and thought about the baby I lost at about 10 weeks.
Mom to 3 boys; was a stay-at-home mom, then a working mom, and now am home again; wife for the past 23 years; dog lover; former preschool teacher; closet writer; beach lover; Yankee who misses living in southern Virginia; Sunday school teacher; and most of all a daughter of God!
