Tag, You're It!

I've been tagged by my dear bloggy friend, Andrea, over at Arise to Write. Thanks Andrea! Being tagged means I need to share a few things about myself. Hhmmm...let's see.

8 Things I Look Forward To:
  1. Meeting Jesus, my baby and my brother when I get to Heaven.

  2. Having eternal life just as God has promised!

  3. Watching my sons grow into Godly men. (I'm already praying for Godly wives for them!)

  4. Having grandchildren someday!

  5. Continually serving God.

  6. Enjoying fresh veggies from our garden all summer long.

  7. Going to the Outer Banks in 2 weeks.

  8. Having time alone with my hubby once we are empty nesters.

8 Things I Did Yesterday:

  1. Went to a lovely outdoor service at our church.

  1. Never sleep so I could do everything that I need and want to do in this lifetime!

  2. Take my kids to Disney World.

  3. Read faster.

  4. Work from home (even though I really like my current job).

  5. Live in the country (in VA!) so I could have more dogs, some goats and maybe some alpacas.

  8. Sponsor more kids through Compassion International.

Thank you for thinking of me. I have already done this one but I appreciate the thought!

I recently connected with an old friend and a nephew and a cousin on facebook. That's the cool thing about it.

When I began blogging the only people who knew were my family. I just wasn't sure how long I'd be doing it so didn't tell anybody about it.

Now lots of people know and three of my friends are blogging too!

Leslie,

Beautiful lists! I too am looking forward to the empty nest because our laundry loads would be so small in comparision and our kids once they wash their own loads would see just how many clothes they wear in a week.

Love your lists... especially our wish list. It echoes mine (in my head, so far...I haven't blogged this yet!) I would also like to learn sign language, minister with an exuberant heart, and sponsor more kids. Actually, we plan to adopt as soon as we have the square footage that we need.
Neat idea to learn more about each other. :-)
