I know that many of you review books for Thomas Nelson. Do you ever find that it takes a long time to receive the book you have requested? I was very surprised at how quickly I received my first book. However, it has been 5 weeks since I requested another book, and I have yet to get it. I checked their website, and it said that they're sending the book to me. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue? Thanks!

I have not reviewed books for them, so I am not much help. I can say a little prayer for a hurried mailing.

That happened to me the first time I requested a book. I know that now they are using US mail to deliver the books instead of UPS. However, I would suggest, emailing them and letting them know you haven't received it yet.

I had the same experience. When I emailed them, they sent out another book via UPS.
I agree with Heart2Heart. Contact them and let them know there's a problem.

I did send them an email yesterday. They said that UPS claims it was left on my front porch on 9/2. I never received it, so they're going to send me another copy!
Leslie, I am glad you reached out to us and that we identified the problem. I do anticipate that shipments will take longer but if you ever don't have a book in two weeks, I suggest you email us at brb@thomasnelson.com so we can check on the shipment and send you a replacement if there was a problem.
